After months of waiting for another SM Baguio 3-Day Sale, one is finally happening this weekend.
Kicking off on October 19, 2012 until October 21, 2012, from 9am to 10pm.
Shopping is therapeutic for me, and when I can’t shop because of a constraining budget, window shopping is enough to lift my spirits and make me happy. The feeling of getting new stuff to reward myself from time to time is just amazing and I love it.
However, I am very stingy, it doesn’t show, but I really am. I only shop during sales, because I get designer stuff for half the price, sometimes more than half the price, which is just awesome. I don’t frequent thrift shops, wagwags or ukay-ukays because well, I don’t have the patience and the talent to actually find something worth finding.
Being claustrophobic doesn’t help either. It’s one of the reasons why I prefer to shop in malls, even though it can get crowded, the air doesn’t get too stuffy to be unbearable.
People think I am an impulsive buyer, which is so not true, it may seem that I buy things on impulse but the truth is, I don’t, it just seems that way because when I’ve thought about what I want and I’ve decided that I really want it, the next time I’m in the store, I grab it and proceed to the cashier in an instant, which can seem a lot like impulse shopping to some people.
I’ve been waiting for this sale for what seems like forever, because I’ve been dying to get my hands on some new shoes and underwear for both me and the husband. The shoes I want aren’t exactly cheap, so the 10% discount on top of the 50% discount for the first 2 hours of the sale on the 19th will help loads.
I will be able to buy 2 pairs of shoes instead of one!

I’m still thinking about whether to use cash or my credit card to purchase stuff, but I heard that I can get a chance to win an Audi A4 if I use my Mastercard credit card, the odds of me winning are like a million to one, but still, it’s a chance I’m willing to take, so I think, credit it shall be. I’d love a new car, perhaps a new car is just what I need to get the courage to go behind the wheel again.
And because I am going to buy something for the husband over at the Men’s Wear Department, so I won’t feel guilty about splurging shopping for myself, I stand a chance to win a Chevy Spark. He also needs new underwear, so might as well get him some during the sale and stand a chance to win a Honda Motorcycle.
I’m sure I’ll spend over a thousand pesos (1,000Php), which makes me qualified to win an iPad, and seriously, who doesn’t want a chance to win an iPad? Right?!
I’m not materialistic, but I do love new things. I’m super psyched about the 3 Day Sale and cannot wait to get my hand on some fabulous new shoes!
